Actual Case History
Weight Loss - 1991
He overate when frustrated, he overate when things were going great, he overate when he was bored, lonely and also to get even. A very active executive, he also lacked exercise in his daily schedule.
It is important to note here that we were not willing to work with our client until we were able to understand that he was determined to lose the weight and keep it off for the rest of his life. The first step was to determine an outcome. We needed to know where he was going and when he would reach his goal. Our client decided to lose between 67 and 82 pounds in a period of eight weeks.
We started his exercise with moderation. A daily, progressive exercise schedule that allowed our client to ease into a program.
After starting the exercise we monitored his eating and adjusted his intake in calories based on his maintenance calories and his exercise calories which gave us the answer to his calories in, to lose the amount of weight in the specified amount of time. Our only requirement for him was to continue his exercise plan and also write down everything that he ate, even if he ate more than he was allowed.
His starting date was July 04, 1991 and by September 19, 1991 (11 weeks instead of the original 8) he had a weight loss of 70 pounds and 13 inches off his waist. CASE CLOSED!
