Your Anti-Aging Newsletter #7

FIVE FRESH VEGETABLES
PER DAY
ON A FOUR DAY
ROTATION SYSTEM

As a "Health Coach" I recommend adding the following to the five items you learned about last month in newsletter #6, your five fresh fruits per day, when you want to achieve proper eating.

When you get to eating five fresh fruits and five fresh vegetables per day, everyday, on our four day rotation system you body will respond with excitement based on this small change.

By the way, the best vegetables are fresh, then frozen, then canned, in that order so plan accordingly. Here is a four day breakdown of vegetables by day, by food family and by item for you to pick from, in each category:

Simply go to your market and pick the 5 vegetables listed for each day.

DAY ONE – LEGUME Family

01)  LIMA BEANS

02)  GARBANZO

03)  SWEET PEAS

04)  CUT GREEN BEANS

05)  KIDNEY BEANS ( DARK RED )

The above choices can be eaten as a warm or cold combination of all five items, just as a vegetable, after heating the vegetables and eating them warm or letting them cool down to eat them cold.

The above choices can be eaten as a combination with ground beef, chicken, fish, and/or pork, chopped in bit size pieces.

( I personally buy a 15oz can of each vegetable and mix it with one pound of ground beef ( warm ) or 16oz of tuna fish ( warm or cold ) and then I place 5 to 6 oz in a Glad Ware Container until the entire portion has been stored. It is then marked by date, frozen and when I am ready for that meal I take it from the freezer, release the cover and place it in the microwave and eat ).

You can get the containers from your local market or go to http://www.glad.com/containers.html

DAY TWO – MUSTARD Family

01)  BROCCOLI

02)  BRUSSEL SPROUTS

03)  CAULIFLOWER

04)  CABBAGE

05)  TURNIPS

The above choices can be eaten as a warm vegetable soup.

The above choices can be eaten as a vegetable salad with dressing.

The above choices can be eaten with any combination of beef, chicken, fish and/or pork.

DAY THREE – COMPOSITE, GOURD & CARROT Families

01)  LETTUCE

02)  CUCUMBER

03)  ZUCCHINI

04)  CARROT

05)  CELERY

The above choices can be eaten as a cold salad with dressing.

DAY FOUR – POTATO, LAUREL &
GRASS Families

01)  BELL PEPPER

02)  POTATO

03)  TOMATO

04)  AVOCADO

05)  CORN

The above choices can be eaten as a cold salad w / wo dressing.

The above choices can be eaten as a warm vegetable soup.

The above choices can be eaten with any combination of beef, chicken, fish and/or pork.

This is a wonderful way to get your five fresh vegetables per day, everyday and yet it will take you sometime to get into the habit of doing this... it is well worth the effort and you will feel great especially when you combine these with the five fresh fruits introduced in newsletter #6.

When you combine the five fresh fruits and five fresh vegetables as two of your meals out of five, your body will tell you how wonderful you are...

 Till next time…
